Psychosocial Support Project for Syrian Children was conducted in 2017 and 2018 as the first phase of the Side by Side All Around Turkey Project. As part of the project, teachers and NGO staff received capacity strengthening training. 4,050 children were accessed through 120 teachers and 73 therapists. The bilingual board games, psychosocial support, and group therapy programs have improved communication and cohesion between peers. The treatment of children victims of trauma was supported through increased emotional awareness.
